Play occurred in a Discord channel and via a test channel on Aragon.
Keep in mind, part of the method behind using a Discord was to provide people with a role-playing option, so many players opted to assume a character. For example, RedHook took a very grumpy, anti-DSTL stance in our script (not really his real personality at all) and you can see where others followed the lead to explore those ideas and points of view. EmilyGill77 was likewise uncharacteristically passive in discourse. I... um she? is usually less circumspect. ;)
Also note we frequently re-posted or referenced previous information to remind them of the ideas and issues pertinent to the vote at hand, or to provide clues as to the possibilities of the world.
ALSO, some players discovered in the DAO on Aragon they could introduce their own votes and as a result we have apples in the virtual break room and vampire attacks are now "warmer cookie" attacks. :)
